NJPEC, the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club, has announced that it has extended its deadline for submissions to its annual Package of the Year competition. The new deadline for submissions is August 31.

The entry fee for submitting is free for members and $75.00 per submission for non-members. The entry application can be downloaded at http://www.njpec.com/pdf/NJPEC-POY-ENTRY-FORMS-2010.pdf

Submissions must be work produced from September 2009 to August 2010 in the following categories:

Cosmetics and Fragrances
Food and Beverage
Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices
Promotional Packaging
Personal Care Household/Industrial
Package Graphic Design
Folding Cartons and Rigid Boxes

There will also be special awards for Sustainable Packaging, Innovation, Market Impact, Best use of Stock Packaging, Rutgers Students Choice and, of course, Package of the Year.

The 32nd Annual Package of the Year Awards Dinner/Ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Hanover Marriott Hotel in Whippany, NJ.
